    RBS - Lock them up!

Just caught the story this evening. If this group within RBS have trashed businesses and individuals to make a 'quick buck' identify them, identify who worked in this group and no matter where they may be in the world now and lock them up! We live in a pissant swamp! - MR2

When things come back to bite you

I was helping my niece (14) complete her Global Warming Project when she mentioned the plight of POLAR BEARS and how their predicament made her feel unhappy. Trying to raise some humour, I said 'look .... some animals of the world have simply past their sell-by date' Guess which of Uncle...

Emily Thornberry. Perfect Example of labour

Go on I'll start (organisers feel free to delete if unacceptable): 'Emily only took a photo for confirmation after I told her she had a bigger a*se than the back of my van' MR2

Emily Thornberry. Perfect Example of labour

Does anyone know how the guy above actually voted? Once again on the 'Daily Politics' there were no believable answers, especially from the Labour spokeswoman. When asked about the resignation and the photo, her remark was 'I don't know why/what the photo was meant to mean. So, Labour sacked...

Our economic recovery is based on......

Oh, I am fuming over this surcharge! One last thing and the obvious question ..... HOW IN THESE TIMES OF AUSTERITY CAN THE CHANCELLOR SUDDENLY FIND £850 MILLION? F*** em - lets get out of the EU NOW, let the Russian eviscerate Germany and its crony states. MR2

Our economic recovery is based on......

Sorry - on those bloody Germans. My Grandad told me they're never upto any good.

Our economic recovery is based on......

Just reading this thread and just to repeat a note I put up on another, the EU official stated that the UK surcharge was mainly down to charity and 'not-for-profit' economic activity and not for prostition or drugs. So, trying not to sound churlish, how much of my 20 quid 'Children in Need'...

    Private School?

Harry, My only experience is through my cricket coaching (kids from the private schools made up 30-40% of my junior teams, chosen purely on cricketing prowess). Those young cricketers always seemed ahead in 'maturity', an attribute which gives them a huge advantage in terms of opportunity...

    The Young Master

When I was part owner of one or two. The trainer emphasised that, no matter how good or otherwise our horses turned out to be, HE was responsible for the entries as stated in his training license and in the protection of the horse. I do not have any sympathy for the trainer, horse or owner. In...

    Europe referendum

I've been trying to work out on what basis the UK had to pay in an extra £1.7 billion. Having heard much about economic activity associated with prostitution and drugs being newly included, I felt the figures must be wrong given Germany's and France's record in these vices. But no ... I have...

    Best Man Speech

Last weekend my son Chris married Jasmine (a gorgeous and very clever lady from Stockholm). His brother was best man and a few months ago asked if I might put a few ideas together for his speech. The following is the middle draft (me to him to his partner, back to me back to him etc) and...

    Scottish Independence.....

Seems as though HMG are going to try 'bribery' with the publication of an alternative package subsequent to a 'No' vote. I would tell them something else - vote 'NO' or F..K off and appreciate how the 'Yes' campaign have stitched you up. My reading of the economics of 'uk-less-scottish...

    Phone issue - Help

This is going to make me sound like a real numpty but … I have a Samsung phone (on a T mobile contract which I am closing down) and wish to start afresh with a pay as you go contract (preferably EE). Can anyone tell me if it is simply a case of buying an EE sim card and top up? TIA – MR2

    Scottish Independence.....

Aye, Grassy, in that you're correct. But its just a casae of good numpties following bad ones. I must admit to wanting the 'yes' campaign to succeed. Simply to see how an 'efficient' government would work. Uk figure of £2 billion dismissed by King Alex who suggests £200 million (I think that...

    Scottish Independence.....

I hope the Scots agree to take on the bill for this ridiculous 'Independence' vote, following its predictable defeat. By my reckoning a few hundreds of millions - lets slice that off the Barnet Formula. MR2

    Electric cars

My only dealings with an electric car was 10 years ago in a NT carpark at Beacon Fell (they were trialling a fleet of electric vans). One virtually reversed into me, probably my fault as I walked behind what was clearly a parked vehicle - no bloody noise or exhaust warning. MR2
