Depends on the bookie. Some will let it stand if the race is re-arranged, others will void all AP bets, returning stakes. Some may offer the choice, although I'm not aware any any particular ones that do.

Obviously the bet will be voided and stakes returned if the race is called off and not rescheduled.
Alcohol, because no good story ever started with "I was eating this salad..."

Cheers, thought the stake would be lost all together.

I’ve invested a happy amount into Count Meribel at 20s, won’t be topping that up.

As much as I like the Count, I can’t get away from Spiritofthegames. I posted last week about Skeltons having a stupidly high strike rate for horses coming back off the back of a wind op, Spiritofthegames falls into this category.

Hearing good things for Happy Diva, but these are the two i picked out early on and I’m sticking with.

REMASTERED in the 3:30 for David Pipe could be a big improver this season. He is 4/1 today to get back to winning ways.

He won on his first start in England in a NHF and then won his novice hurdle.

The three runs since then, most notably his last performance weren't his true showing but they've kept his rating down for a day like today. I feel he'll love the ground and it could be a case of how far...if he gets into a good rhythm.

I wouldn't want to back anything to get past him.

    Belami Des Pictions for me.

Venetia Williams seems to be much more of a player in these showcase handicaps the past several years. Her horses are said to thrive in the mud. We shall see...

    Good luck all.

Have backed both Pipe horses. Main bet Eamon an Cnoic 25/1 antepost and have covered on Warthog 33/1 today too.

Congrats to those on Happy Diva. Kicking myself I didn’t jump on it, stuck to my word. Great race.

Thought Count Meribel was travelling an absolute dream turned and just didn’t get home. He’s certainly got a race in hkm somewhere though

    Well done Happy Diva backers.

I thought she was winking at me...and she was....but I took no notice.

Just a bit too testing for Count Meribel IMO. One to follow next time if he gets better ground.

    Pipes should carry a squiggle
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Warthog placed at 33/1. I'll take it. Profit for the race. Especially with Eamon an Cnoic falling at the 2nd fence.

*It's more Tom Scu that should carry a squiggle imo.

Count Meribel entered at Ascot next week, prefers right handed but too soon after a tough slog today.

Belami Des Pictons looked unlucky from the stands, being hindered by Eamon An Cnoic's mishap at the second, and was always playing catch up, did well to finish fourth eventually.
