Lawyers for me. Journo's are just lodged firmly up their own arses. Oh, and Ardross is a lawyer.

I think that they're similar in a way, but Journalists tend to end up pretty drunk and twisted whereas lawyers just end up pretty drunk.

The lawyers get my vote for two reasons.

    1. The existence of Barristers. They are not needed. A solicitor should be able to bring a case to trial. What is wrong with Petroccelli (sp?)? Private Detective, Councellor, Solicitor and Barrister all in one.

    2. Anyone I know that went on to do law in University started talking funny within six months. The marbles in the mouth syndrome. And laughing with inappropriate force.

I don't have a real problem with either profession so how do I vote?
I decided to go on personal experience of those that I know who work in those areas, or have done in the past.

    My conclusion is:-
I once thought Ardross was an arse, but I have changed my view (until the next time he deletes one of my threads!! ) and Ian Davies (sort of ex sort of Journo) was once an arse, and he also has turned out to be a sort of likeable bloke at times..

    Help!

Should I just abstain perhaps? B)

    Oi, I resemble that remark!

I could dream up my own appraisal of La Kathy, but hey, we're getting along nowadays, so why rock the boat? B)

Having obtained a Law degree, I guess I might have been a tenth-rate solicitor but, not wanting to die of boredom by the age of 22, I become a racing journalist instead, so I've had a taste of both.

Journalism is definitely the more ''arse'' profession - don't let Ardross's rantings (only joking, old chap) fool you, you do have to have a brain to be a half-decent lawyer.

I'd have to say my vote is going to journalists.

There are a good few honest journalists whose views I respect.

But it's mostly just mindless leeches who seek any old gossip to make money.
