Penalty kick for the estate agents. Builders do have their uses at times, estate agents are a fat lot of use all the time!

I'm not so sure about that.....builders et al are a bloody nightmare, especially as they never turn up when they're supposed to, never stick to the original quote, leave a mess to be cleaned up & expect to have tea on tap!

I never had a problem with my estate agent. Builders on the other hand are less popular chez moi.

It has to be builders. They've taken a precious early lead.

They might not stay, but they certainly drag the job on forever......usually leaving a few bits yet to be done! My mum is having a nightmare with her new kitchen at the moment, there are builders tools & stuff everywhere & it still needs a few bits doing to it. She's got family coming to stay in a few days & she's got a load of people round for Christmas so she's pulling her hair out at the minute...doesn't help that her builder is a good friend of hers either.....

Estate agents are utter parasites and one day all house vendors will find buyers at property ''exchanges'' (bit like betting exchanges), where it will cost a pittance to advertise your property compared to the fortunes estate agents rake in for little more than finding someone whose purchasing needs match your vending needs.

Only two hours left. Can somebody either close the thread at midday or record the score at midday?
