No idea what's going on! I put up an article about water desalinization plants in Saudi Arabia - currently planning to add 6 to their existing 30 - and why we don't do the same thing in the UK. The article seems to have been edited for some very, very obscure reason, best known to the editor.

Not me this time. You did put up two topics with identical titles though so the editor may have just assumed they were the same and deleted the first one.

We have de-salinisation plants in Gib too; they work very well & we don't get water shortages despite it not raining very often, having such a hot climate & having so many people crammed into such a small place. It really is ludicrous that the UK has constant "water shortages" - my arse! The place is surrounded by water, it never stops raining & yet they STILL have permanent hosepipe bans in place. Utterly ridiculous.

A huge percentage of water goes into manufacturing too....i.e. paper mills

"The Editor" isn't called Blind Pew, is he, Pee? Yes, just before the forum went into meltdown, it double posted. One posting contained the article, one had the annoyed face on the double posting. Naturally, the article was the redundant posting...

... which, of course, it now is. And look, "Editor", here's another
