Last year's Fillies Mile winner makes her seasonal reappearance in tomorrow's Lancashire Oaks.

Maids Causeway has done the Fillies Mile form the world of good this season and Dash To The Top was able to win first time out recently after making a belated seasonal appearance.

Can Playful Act uphold the seemingly excellent Fillies Mile form?

She looked a very good fillie last year but will need to be at the same level he was at least if she is going to beat Punctilious.

Assuming Punctilious is in the same form as her previous best.

I hope she comes out and runs really well. She was my ante post Oaks bet so I a looking forward to her return. You are right about that Fillies Mile, Phil. It looks one hell of a race already.

I like Twyla Tharp, even if she is second string.

What a shame that both Playful Act and Dash to the Top missed the Oaks, will be great if they line up against Eswarah in the Yorkshire Oaks.

Great stuff from a filly who looked about 70% and she is as brave as ever .

I backed the second and third at odds close to 25s on betfair and they were never going to het to her.The Irish Oaks might be a bit soon but she must have a good chance of landing a big one this season.

Agree super effort but surely she will bounce off the wall if she goes to Ireland?

Playful Act recently sold for a world record at $10.5 million

Darley are paying huge money lately for brood mares.

Crikey! That is big even by their standards. But the paddocks round their base in Nemmarket are full of outstanding racemares and yet we see so little of what is bred form them. Cannot understand it.

Shadwell do a lot better and have fewer.

Looks like Sadlers Wells mares are going for huge money at the moment.

The clock is ticking on the great sire.

I am surprised that they have not announced his retirement as yet. But then he has been private for so long and thus so expenisve that I guess he is not covering as many as he used to anyway.

He does make me smile though, he stays in the local news because every celebrity, politician etc who goes to Ireland gets to go and meet him and have their photo taken with him. And Sadlers Wells is by far the most photogenic of the lot of them!
