Unless you are a poor Afghani who has spent a month on a boat without food in an effort to live your right wing capitalist dream, Suny.
"And still they gazed and still the wonder grew. That one small head could carry all he knew.

And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."

Howard - ah yes lovely bloke - the one who told the false stories about asylum seekers throwing their kids into the sea

In fact , just another example in my book of " it's the economy stupid " winning an election for a Govt - incumbents seldom are thrown out when people feel money in their pocket

I dearly hope that you are right about the economy being the governing factor as far as the US elections are concerned - but I fear not

If I were so antiBush as some presume I would be preparing me for another 4 years of him being the president of USA.

suny, like many Americans you are viewing George W Bush solely from the viewpoint of his invasion of Iraq. You - as does everyone else on here - know that I disagree with you over Iraq but let's for the moment forget all about it.

The economy of the USA has an effect on everyone in the world in one way or another. The damage that the Bush administration has wrought to the US economy is unbelievable. There were 200 years between the election of George Washington and the departure from the presidency of Ronald Reagan. In that time the USA had 40 presidents. If we take the total increase in debt of the USA for that entire period it is less than the increase in debt created by the Bush administration in 45 months!

Bush's defence policy, economic policy, health and social security policy and environmental policy are all decided by what will benefit the large corporations from whom he will receive backing and the richest 5% of the US population.

For sure I am against Bush.

We do, tetley, but I guess others, like me, thought that you were joking.

It's a dildo and it's used here in a pejorative sense
