I'd wear both, the Val Doonican one underneath, of course!

You're not flying with Monarch are you?

Considering that you are a southern nancy-boy, you should take the warmer jumper.

It is, but I still have northern blood in my veins.

By the way, I have a collegue from Whitehaven, who I regularly call a big southern nancy-boy, so cricketfan should not take offence.

Firstly I'd like to thank Ardross for his honest but brief answer. The larger and warmer of my two jumpers is now packed in my on-flight bag in preparation for arrival at Lingfield's local airport. h34r:

Relkeel. I gave up on Monarch years ago after previous troubles. It's BA all the way for me !!! I'll leave my "Who is more of southern nancy-boy?" defence to SL. <_<

SL: The "Val" is safely hidden and will more than likely only make an public appearance when the Gib freezes over, or I go to a fancy dress party as a sheep. :P

That well-known Toon fan J McCririck was educated at Harrow, where he was Julian Wilson's fag. I trust that the patrician Wilson gave him a regular thrashing.

Well, I was sat at North Front Airport, Gib, supping a pint of Cruzcampo as the incoming BA from Gatwick touched down.

I was satisfied when, shortly afterwards, a passenger announcement declared that ZB068 (Monarch) from Luton was running an hour late.

So far I have used the warm jumper sparingly, and the waterproofs are still, happily, packed away !

    Songsheet,

North Front Airport???!!!! How many airports are there in the 4sq miles that is Gib so that they have to be identified by daft names??!!!

And, Jules....please address them by their proper title of "Gibbos"....& I would rather die than become a bloody Gibbo!!!! :P
