Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess.
False face must hide what the false heart doth know.
Out of Time is a good album , Pink Floyd is OK but overrated - Dire Straits , their dirges are summed up by the first word of their name U2 the most overrated band of all time
You wha?????? Pink Floyd overrated??? U2 overrated?????? Dire Straits dire??????? What in the name of God do you rate as decent then??!!! :P

Great albums? Dire Straits? I hated the Floyd.
It depends what mood I'm in really.
The older CD's which I play the most are probably:
London Calling - Clash
Automatic for the People - REM
Morning Glory - Oasis
Revolver - Beatles
Who's Next - The Who
Leisure - Blur
Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
Without doubt the best album by a single artist I have, or am ever likely to have, is Money for nothing by Dire Straits. But that's a greatest hits album so it wouldn't really count. In my experience most albums never have more than 3 or 4 decent tracks, so I can't nominate a single one.
The Stone Roses - Eponymous
Radiohead - OK Computer
Orbital - The Brown Album
The Clash - London Calling
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon.
Delicate Sound of Thunder.
Genesis - Seconds Out.
Rick Wakeman - King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
Journey to the Centre of the Earth.
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours.
.
Saw PF perform The Wall at Earls Court, amazing stuff especially the guitar solo by Dave Gilmour picked out by a searchlight on top of the wall during Comfortably Numb. You have to get into the whole concept to appreciate the album but lets face it, millions did although the film didn't do it justice. Definitely a classic album.
Dark Side of the Moon too in it's time.
"The owls are not what they seem"
My favourite album of all time is
Divine Comedy - Promenade
Other than that PDJ's first two above are amazing.
Pixies - Surfer Rosa deserves inclusion.
I went swimming in the Caribbean. Animals were hiding behind rocks
whos next-the who mainly for the anthem
clash london calling

U2 the most overrated band of all time
In fact I consider tham on of the best of all time if not the best.
I'm sure I read somewhere that there was an Irish band providing funds to the IRA in the 1980's. Not sure what effect this would have had on their music.
Whigfield - Whigfield
Whigfield - Whigfield II
Whigfield - Whigfield III
Whigfield - Whigfield IV

These may not be to everyone's taste, and maybe too shallow for others, but I keep going back to them..........
