Prairie Dancer for me (amongst plenty of other). Still getting over Hewick as I follow Shark and backed Hewick all last season. Forgot he was running.

    Disclosure:

On Galway Plate day I managed to back a few good priced winners and on top of that I was explaining to Grey (Art) how I was also holding a 50C permed ticket for the jackpot and the winners were 4/1, 11/1, 16/1 and 28/1 so I was hopeful of a nice dividend.

Art listened to my hopes with graciousness and then gently and tactfully explained that when filling out my choices I had mistaken the second race with the third and was in fact collecting sweet phuck all.

    Sad.

I know it’s aftertiming ( sorry) but after missing out on Hewick I noticed that Rachael was riding one for Shark today ( (Hallowed Star) so I backed it and forgot about it. I’ve always followed Sharks horses and used to back them when Rachael started riding for him. She owes him a lot and she’ll be pleased with that win. I’m really enjoying the racing this week.

There was only 9.3k in the jackpot pool, and it wasn't won. The payout for one winner would have been about €6.4k.

Better to save your good-luck bank for a bigger day

    410 galway.
What a plot/fiddle with Current option winning it for the 3rd time running.hasnt won since winning it last year so was racing off a lower mark. On a session again run well for the 3rd year running but because hes been running well he was worse off again.
Late last night I did back the winner but only at 7/2..
I should have done the forecast.

The Racing Post betting forecast had him as a 33/1 shot. Now 8's.
