Westover has more in common with Hurricane Lane than with Sovereign or Santiago.
I reckon the three Derby winners this season will give most older horses a run for their money when they meet .

I wouldn't disgaree with that but I think we have to ask if this is a vintage year?
I personaly don't think we are about to see another Dancing Brave anytime soon

Probably only because most of the older horses aren't much cop, though.
Hardwicke winner Broome is a c120 horse.
Hukum was much more impressive in dishing out a 7lbs beating to 120-ish markers in the Coronation Cup, though, and I still believe Hurricane Lane has a 126 in his locker.
The Derby winners will have to improve - not out of the question by any means - to get to them, let alone beat them and, as has been suggested, Westover might be the most likely to do so at 12f and Desert Crown and/or Vadeni at shorter. I'm not sure I'd fancy Hurricane Lane back at 10f, mind.

To get the same view of DC's rear?
Hurricane Lane going to Saint Cloud on Sunday
Looks like a smart move and another winning opportuity for Godolphin

Looking at the KGQE field it is far from exciting.
Can only hope Emily Upjohn is allowed to take her chance because if not it could be a walk in the park for Desert Crown.
Sad really a top class event and we can't put 5 competetive horses together with decent chances

Arc winner Torqartor Tasso bolted up in Germany today and is as low as 6/1 for the KG
Today's decs:
3:35 Ascot | Standard Racecard | 23 July 2022 | Racing Post
Credible contenders are falling by the wayside. Looks like a straight scrap between Mishriff, Torquator Tasso and the Derby horses.

The Oaks was a fluke. Run it again and EU would win a minute and by some way.
She getsa stone from Mishriff which has to put her in witha shout.
I'm not a Mishriff fan and feel Vadeni underperformed on that very fast gound and flattered him.
Torquato Tassor has no chance I wouldn't back him with bad money.
Westover had an easy task I think he's way too short for this.
Desert Crown has only run 3 times in his life and could easily improve 7lbs
In fact I'd expect him too.
If you haven't backed him already someone will go evens at some point....IMO have the kitchen sink on he looks a steering job.
Selection: Desert Crown
Danger: Emily Upjohn

I think I was talking about the Eclipse Reet in response to DO saying Baaeed would be suited by 10F........Vadeni never was being considerd for the King George and neither was Baaeed.
I made it quite clear 4 posts back what I think

DC drifting on Betfair
SMS's recent form?
Are they running bad? - the two I remember from the last week are Just Fine who was sort of placed in the Magnet Cup (bad ride) and Swoon at Ascot who found her way into my tracker.
