Darlectable won 6.55 W today. RP anlyst said "she's no star" but she was keen, on her first outing for a year, and JG's nobody's fool, but thought enough of her to run her in the Cheshire Oaks last year, where she disappointed, hence the long break.

WPM's Viva Devito was handled with TLC behind Facile Vega.
Quite frankly the horse cruised through the race but was only there to say hello to the people and have a pick of grass.
One to keep an eye on when dropped in class

2 that caught my eye and I expect many other eyes were
GATECRASHER GIRL 300 notts Tuesday 1m fillies hcap off 66.
You wont see an easier winner this year.
SPREZZATURA 5f maiden at ayr. Got outpaced but finished strongly into 4th.

Raasel won a piece easier than it looked today, exactly as he did at Musselbutgh.
Can't go up much for this and should pick up another decent prize, over a sharp 5f on decent ground, before the handicapper gets a grip on him.

Silence Please 3:15 Goodwood. 2/1fav and going well when the door was slammed in her face just after she started her challenge just over a furlong out. Badly hampered and knocked all over the place she did well to finish third.

Chiefofchiefs was matched at 10/1 before drifting to as much as 40/1 on the machine.
Never in the hunt Haley shoved him up the ass of every horse she could find
Price and way he was ridden would indicate they made their minds up beforehand today was not the day
One to take a chance with in his next couple of races..could reward at a decent price

One Ruler 4.05 Victoria Cup. They were using this as a sighter for the Royal Hunt Cup. Kept out the back. A couple of tugs when he was going well and then ran on nicely when the handbrake was off. The extra distance will be ideal.

Don't watch many 2yo races, but happened to catch Catterick's 1.45 today.
Off probably too strong a pace, Cathy Come Home won handsomely.Won't be much of a bet nto, but against better class or a stiffer stamina test, she looks a sure-fire winner for the future.

From today's York 3.00 - Cockalorum. This was my main bet in the race and I had it in a double with Nate The Great at Newmarket so naturally I was paying more attention than usual to one horse. I went from feeling good about it as they turned for home to feeling horrified at seeing the jockey take a definite pull to the back of the field. I keep saying, all I'll ever ask is that my horse is trying so this was not what I wanted to see. I thought I'd then see how Rogue Bear was getting on only for BJ's white blaze to catch my eye. I hadn't been watching the prelims either, just listening to them in the background while sorting tomorrow's cards, so had no idea that Cockalorum had drifted as much as BJ had shortened. Am I right in thinking it was virtually pulled up? Have they come up with an excuse for it? If the net result is that the horse drops a few pounds in the weights, he'll have a huge chance in the Magnet Cup or any handicap they choose to target.

It didn't look to me like it lost its action. It was a definite pull. You could almost hear the jockey going, "Whooaaahh..." and then eased right off.
