Tingle Creek Chase Sandown Park Sat Dec 4th 2021

Probably end up a five or six runner affair but these are the entries

I reckon anyone who thinks Shishkin is in the same class as previous Henderson winners are about to get their fingers burned.

This I say in the hope Chacun Pour Soi turns up up.

He looked all over the winner in the QMCC when he drifted left and some blamed the hill but I reckon there was more to it than that.

He met the 2nd again at Punchestown and beat him as far as the eye could see and at the same time kicked the Ryanair winner into touch.

WPM thinks the world of this horse and I agree with him and have him head and shoulders ahead of Henderson's young pretender

I dont think it's a case of him being scared of defeat James.

He did allow Altior to take on Un Des Sceaux and according to the handicapper Shishkin is rated only 3lbs lower

Usually Nicky is up for a challenge and makes his decisions based on what the horse is showing him at home.

If he's not 100% he'll switch him to the Desert Orchid I suspect

Henderson has reported Shishkin as ‘ready to roll’. If the horse doesn’t run at Sandown, it’s because his (the trainers) bottle has gone, though doubtless we’d hear some shite about a stone-bruise or patches of false-ground by the Pond Fence.

I think the after effects of the Altior/Cyrname clash are burned in the memories of Henderson and Nicholls so I suspect neither of them want anything similar for their big guns except on the main battleground.

I find it hard to be negative about decisions Nicky makes. Most people would be champing at the bit to run Chantry House today

But Nicky said no he'll wait for the King George which will probably be a much bigger challenge...hardly that of a trainer with no balls Pal

If he pulls Shish, one has to question his mentality

Willie should send one but wont be ergumene
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

You must be kidding Nicky took advantage of a very bad era with Altior

He had won 18 or 19 races prior to Cyrname and was 9 years old and about to be10 years old.

He was never the same horse again, he was never anywhere near as good as Sprinter and if anything over rated

Cyrname became the highest rated horse in training when he beat him but never once did he run close to that

Altior as we know now was at the end of his career......doubt if Nicky lost a minutes sleep over him

He is adamant he runs come what may. I would be more concerned about Mullins running Chacun Pour Soi

Min never came over and always ran and won the John Durkan Memorial but then again he was better at 2m4f

Granted Tiggers but it's along season and the best are still to surface. Colin Tizzard is on fire he said with my only bet of the day Killer Kane about to run.

Those that ran in the Arkle are doing the right thing and tat's to get out early and grab what they can.......later on I doubt if they will win much

Fu*cking joke. A week ago he said Shishkin was "ready to roll".

Henderson should just retire, and do so immediately. He is becoming an absolute fu*cking parody of the trainer he once was.
