Isn’t it always! He could have just said “it was a rough race and I got shuffled back too far. The old Strad would have picked them up from there. But that’s racing!” And not mentioned “a young guy...”

Snowfall I agree looked a bit over the top, with her head on one side. Happens this time of year.

I backed Sealiway at long odds in the Arc and let his price here put me off. Honestly couldn't really see it winning this, though.

Chuffed for Outsider and well done anyone else who backed him. (Including the brother.)

Well done Sealiway backers. Think it looks softer than official ground now especially with the one-two-three all being mud lovers.
Adayer needs to go back to 1m4f and settle better. Mishriff ground possibly too loose?

Pleased to see Gosden criticise Dettori. He will hopefully have given him a private bollocking too.

Happened a few times this season; may be angling for a change?

    Odd ride on Palace Pier.

Adayar no surprise. Obvious Mishriff was beat early on. Rain didn't help either.
All comers, all grounds, all beaten!

Disappointing not to see the assumed principals fight it out, but a really good pick Outsider - hats off.

Yes hats off Outsider. Your pick Sealiway chinned me with Dubai Honour who I thought ran a stormer.

Results have been hard to take recently.

Getting toe punted in the bollox when I was 15 at school by a lad for no reason didn't feel as enduringly sickening as the amount of seconds I've been backing of late...

Dettori tore strips off Dylan McMonagle all the way down the horse walk on the way back in, every other word was f***. Great role modelling there Frankie.

Not his first time at this carry on either, makes the ITV love in with him all the more galling!

My opinion, for what it is worth, is that both Detroit and Stradivarius have one thing in common with me; feeling our age!

On the Racing TV report as well. Along the lines of if Frankie rode it again he’d probably have got on with it rather than spending his time looking around.
