They were talking about one week earlier Truncheon.
Criquette Head is against such a move however.
Champions Day should not have left Newmarket methinks.

Champions Day at Newmarket featured the Ces and a bunch of 2yo races. It was just another day.

And a proper 10f Group 1 should never be on the Rowley Mile.

Funny thing is the weather forecast looks dry for the foreseeable and we might get good ground next Saturday for once

That made the race unique though Euro and we got some stunning performances through the years.
Maybe it age but the going was usually better also than Ascot.
That said I was there for the first Champions Day and enjoyed it immensely; then Apache Gold took over at Cork !

Can't agree with that. For one thing there was the Champion Stakes which was a much more meaningful race than at Ascot. Then there was the Rockfel and the Dewhurst, followed by the Challenge Stakes and finished off by the Pride stakes. It was one of my favourite days and usually run on good ground.

Runs at Saint Cloud tomorrow 12.58 again taking on Angel Bleu who he finished third to above. I think he could reverse the form over an extra furlong.
