Despite an abundance of 2yo races over Friday and Saturday there was only one FSS winner.
At Chester on Saturday Devious Angel (Dascombe) was another winner for Cotai Glory
Monday
At Killarney DAO'B gives Ulysses his first winner with Piz Bodile
Colin Phillips (13th July 2021)
Tuesday
Bath: Tardis (Bell) well named winner for Time Test
Beverley: La Feile (Fahey) for Aclaim; Clodovea (T Easterby) for Mondialiste and I think that's a first winner for this sire.
Colin Phillips (14th July 2021)
Wrong there about Mondialiste, that was his second.
Cotai Glory draws upsides today (Wednesday) with the victory of Pearl Glory (Phillippart de Foy: that's a first for me) at Longchamp, sorry that's rubbish, at Lingfield.
One interesting thing at the moment is how few Ardads are running. His wins to runners ratio is far better than Cotai Glory's.

Friday: a couple of winners for FSS
Hamilton: Pockett Rockett (Ryan) takes Cotai Glory ahead I think
Haydock : Just a Claim (Fell) for Aclaim
Yesterday the Queen had a 2yo double at Newbury. Both looked useful but Reach for the Moon particularly so. Gosden Sr. says the Solario is a likely target.
Colin Phillips (17th July 2021)
Cotai glory 18
ardad 17
profitable 11

Saturday
An across the card double takes Cotai Glory further ahead.
At Newbury Tropez Power (Hannon) gets it on a disqualification.
At Ripon Hollow Steel (Alice Haynes) takes the first.
Caravaggio (Stack) gets a long-priced winner at the Curragh when John the Baptist noses out the AOB favourite.
Sunday
Two FSS w inners at Redcar. Young Mr Boughey, after some time, wins with Uncs (Gallileo Gold). while Ed Bethell has a win with Exminster (Ribchester).
Would be wrong not to mention the victory of Kevin Ryan's Atomic Force in the Prix Robert Papin at Chantilly yesterday. Has run 4 times, winning 3 including another listed event at Chantilly. First time out he was a beaten favourite. He is by Cotai Glory and a look at his pedigree suggests he could get a bit further. He is a gelding.
Colin Phillips (19th July 2021), edgt (19th July 2021)
Ardad at last gets another one. Ionian Sea (Fahey) at Beverley (Monday)
Wednesday
Taj Alola (Burke) scores at Caterick for El Kebeir. Looked a useful debut.
Porsche Cavalier (Cotai Glory) won for Brisland at Sandown.
Colin Phillips (22nd July 2021)
Churchill being the sire of Ladies Church.

It looks as if Kodiac is no longer the top sire of 2-y-os. After topping the table in 2017,18 and 19 he had to settle for second place behind the new go to 2-y-o sire Mehmas last year. Mehmas, with 29 winners so far this year, is well ahead of Cotai Glory on 21, Ardad and Havana Gold on 18 with Kodiac in fourth place on 17.
