    Saturday

An across the card double for Ribchester: Flaming Rib (Dascombe) at Doncaster and Gisburn (Hannon) at Newbury.
    Chelmsford: Windseeker (Aclaim) for Hannon.

Luxembourg (by Camelot) wins the Futurity at Doncaster and is the first 2yo colt winner of a leading race likely to stay the Derby distance. All the other top pattern winners look milers to me.

With the season coming to a close, COTAI GLORY appears to have an unassailable lead:

    COAI GLORY 34
    PROFITABLE 28
    ARDAD 26
    CHURCHILL 21
    GALILEO GOLD 20
    CARAVAGGIO 19
    ACLAIM 17
    RIBCHESTER 14
    ULYSSES 13
    TIME TEST 12

The leading sire of 2-y-o y wins this season (GB & Ireland):

    MEHMAS 47
KODIAC 43 (can't see him being champ)
    DARK ANGEL 39
    COTAI GLORY 34
    SHOWCASING 31
Ah! but a man's reach should exceed his grasp......

Friday Kempton: Echosmith (Aclaim) for Adrian Keatley. Unless I've missed something that takes Aclaim into 5th, equal with Galileo Gold and above Caravaggio in terms of wins.
Newmarket: Audience (Almanzor) for Gosdens. An impressive debut.

Just saw where Mehmas covered 292 mares this year and Kodiac 239 .
    Tally Ho indeed !

Reminds me of the story Michael Osborne told of his first trip to USA as Irish National Stud manager.
When he passed through immigration, upon reading his immigration card the officer on duty said " You are supposed to write your home address there sir, not your occupation !"

Seems ridiculous unless they include Southern Hemisphere matings. He is champion 2nd Crop Sire and Champion 2yo sire for the 2nd time so his performance seems robust.

    Additional to the post above.

COTAI GLORY had three offspring with an RPR of 100+. The best of those was ATOMIC FORCE (RPR 109) and an official rating (OR) of 114, he has been gelded. ATOMIC FORCE won the Group 2 Robert Papin over 6f. at Chantilly (running on and going clear).
