    Eileendover

If you never seen her win today I suggest you have a look...If she goes for the bumper she'll take some beating

8/1 with a run seems very generous

Trainer seemed very set against it. With a run necessary. I'm not sure she beat much.

What she beat I think was irrelevant she ust oozes class and a turn of foot to die for.

I assume if she is not going for the bumper we'll be seeing her in some high class flat races this summer

Trainer says they have had many offers but she is definitely not for sale,,,,,,,She reckons the Bumper knocks them off balance for a while.....Didn't do Cue Card or Envoi Allen much harm.

She said: “I have got a lot of time to think about it ,but I don’t think it will be Cheltenham. I’m just not a Cheltenham fan, I know it’s a prestige thing and a big festival but we don’t have to go there.
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

    8/1 for the bumper. No.

She’s 6/4 to run. They haven’t hidden from the fact she’s flat bound in the summer
Evens to stay the trip. Yes she won in bottomless ground over c. 2m today but there’ll be much more emphasis on stamina in an end to end gallop the bumper calls for.

Doesn’t leave much margin for her simply being good enough

Granddaughter of Pam Sly’s other superstar, Guineas winner, Speciosa.

I reckon she would get the trip at Cheltenham' She's relaxed travels with ease and could have won by a furlong yesterday..shooting away instantly like that she would get 2m.4f IMO.......I know she will run on the flat but never stopped dozens of jumpers doing both.......

She's not bred to stay , although that doesn't necessarily mean anything, and up against 'specialist' 1m 4 plus horses she may need more but certainly was impressive yesterday. If they are not keen on Cheltenham, have to think the KG would be on the menu? Maybe start with with the Sagaro stakes? If she says she's not for sale, she's not for sale. I was told at the end of her 2 year old season, Pam Sly was offered 'serious' money to sell Speciosa ( million plus was rumoured ) and refused all offers.

She won't have a Flat rating so a maiden win in a poor race, followed by a small conditions race win, then maybe something like the Magnet Cup or, if she genuinely stays at Flat pace, the Ebor off bottom weight?

If I were planning a Flat campaign that's what I would be looking at. Then some black type.

    Actual winning distance was 6.5l

Delighted for the trainer who seems very personable (and clever).

Will be interesting to see where/ what she does with her. She could get some black type in a bumper. Wonder how many phone calls she had after that race yesterday?

Eileendover had just about the fastest time of the day 29sec slow on heavy ground over 2m 1/2f If the trainer is correct and reckons she will be better on good ground I would have to think the way she travels she would get the trip. I just can't think of any horse who runs 2m+ on heavy ground finds a ton of speed at the end of it winning going away that never got the trip at Cheltenham....breeding is a guide but it's not gospell

Good decision. There will be plenty more muscular Irish ex pointers to rough her up at Cheltenham.
