    Not sure.

My first thought was Santini going King George was because he couldn’t beat Champ

Really have no idea, Hendos stables been more weird this year than others. Maybe they’ve just realised he can’t bloody jump
Well enough to win a Gold Cup. Rather than coming out and saying it they’re going round the houses.

I wonder if he's has some schooling issues and some bad falls that are concerning them. Perhaps there's a confidence issue with the horse. It happens.

Hendo's favourite bookie has introduced him at 50/1 for the Stayers, so it seems highly unlikely that it's being considered given the connection and the price.

    Santini - KG/Denman/GC

    Champ - Cotswold/GC

    Seems obvious.

Very few 3m+ chases against Grade 1 horses will shape up in a way to suit Cyrname. Stamina plays a part in that. Cant be ridden aggressively like Frodon, for instance, to use his jumping to cheat for stamina. Leave him bomb out over 2m.

Well it will be interesting to see what they do with him. Never been a Gold Cup horse but wouldn't fancy him for any race at the festival.

Isn't Cyrname just a bit soft? Doesn't seem to like it when it hurts?

Capable of instances of excellence rather than a career of greatness

    Glory days behind him

My takeaway from the King George:

    Altior is eminently vulnerable tomorrow.

Cyrname needs to dominate a race. Pumpkin sticking Frodon in fucked his stablemate. Shame as I had him in a 76/1 double with Minella Indo.

I don't think MI needs to win the Savills, just run well. Cheltenham obviously will suit him more.

I've backed Delta Work and his main dangers imo are the fav and actually Samcro. Can't understand why APT is so short and PP surely needs much further than 3m unless the ground is very deep.

Yeah. Not even sure what to make of that, winner was good, that’s how you ride.

Did Melon stay? I’ve put in here before they will target the Gold Cup. 66s for a horse that performs at Cheltenham seems good to me.

on the speed the whole way in a strongly run race, definitely has the stamina

probably a race many will be sceptical of though given the 2 heading the betting fell. can't see any of the first 3 being around the top of the betting for the GC

I would be very disappointed if Minella Indo didn't have the beating of that trio.

Halfway through the race the thing that flashed across my mind was that I watching a Grand National trial.

It ended up a glorified handicap.

Reminded me of the IGC won by Edwulf.
