Really Intriguing race but personally I can’t get away from the Joseph O’brien trained Crossfirehurricane. I think he’s only the price he is, because of the doubt behind him staying the 1m4f. He would certainly be pushing for favouritism if it were a mile and a quarter. He definitely wasn’t stopping in his group 3 trial for this. A race where they didn’t hang about, with CFH covering the last 3 furlongs as quick as Siskin. Covering the entire distance faster than the 4 year old filly Fleeting, with 3Lb more on his back. Back to the Pedigree, the Dam’s sire Maria’s Mon is well known for his influence of Stamina and The Grand Dam Louvakhova gives the tail an abundance of the stuff. I could be miles from the truth but I do get an eerie feeling there is a hint of keeping it in the family here, but with the emphasis on looking after the children. Joseph couldn’t have his string in any better condition and this would be the icing on a fantastic few days cake.

Crossfirehurricane 15/2…very tempted at E/w at that price.
