    A very soft supreme maybe

The price is fair but he needs a trip and I'd say thye could send him to the longer race at Limerick over xmas next
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Not convinced he needs a trip, PJ. I think he wants a strong gallop.

    I see your angle.

The way he switches off makes me think 3m

If he did turn up in the Supreme. Would be happy with the prices mentioned

    Novice Hurdlers 2020/21

A bit underwhelmed by Ballyadam today. It could well be the hype & the same colours as Envoi Allen but then Elliott & Codd have done nothing to dampen the hype either. Keith Donoghue had said he’s the fastest horse he’s ever ridden.

The race today should have been perfect for him, ran at a sedate pace (11 seconds slower than the juvenile hurdle & they jumped every hurdle) small field and no major bumper horse from last year taking him on.

I thought turning in he’d put a distance between them but it didn’t materlise. His jumping wasn’t great at times either. I Imagine Willie Mullins will be happy enough tonight. There’s at least 3 novices ahead of NGolo in his yard and after pulling, getting slightly caught in at a crucial time he was only 2L behind at the line.

6/1 fav for the Supreme is a criminal price but again I think the colours on the jockeys back and the horse before him are added into that.

It wouldn’t be the biggest shock to see him end up in the Ballymore.

Agree Kauto, that performance today makes me think he's not the real deal.

It was one of those performances where I wasn’t impressed but it didn’t have me hovering over the button to cash out my ante post bet. It does make me wonder whether Cheveley might start to think he’s the one that goes up in trip and Ferny Hollow is there horse for the Supreme.

My first thought also was that Ngolo would benefit for a step up in trip. Outpaced but stayed on nicely.

Bigger field and stronger pace will suit, think they will leave him at 2m

My take is that although some might see it that the slowly run race suited a speedier type like him, I tend to see it the other way that a stronger run race will only help his jumping down the line. That was only his second start over obstacles, I see more improvement to come. If he'd jumped the last better he'd have won by 3 lengths without Jack even getting serious with him. Also think he could go either Supreme or Ballymore as seems to settle well.

You may well be right Bos, but all that experience is a massive plus over the staying trips, when I'd be fairly confident he's be running for a place at the very best in the Supreme. He probably wouldn't be the highest placed horse from his own stable in the Supreme, and presumably Willie knows that. If he did line up I'd probably back him each way on the day though given Willie knows his pecking order. He'll still be a reasonable price I expect.

Boothill 25/1 for Supreme after today's Taunton romp

Did it well, showed good tactical speed, jumped great and bounded away at the end

I've been underwhelmed by the 2m novice hurdlers so far, this one could be up there in the betting come the day

Agreed lovely start from Boothill, but don’t overlook Atholl Street who gagged up in the first division of the same novice…

Bob Ollinger impressive enough in Navan for me to take 14's for the Ballymore.

It was a sound performance , I have liked him for a while now and have him well backed . I stuck him in the AP combo in Nov at 20/1 but I have to admit to some how squeezing £37 on the below special with Skybet

Bob Olinger, Envoi Allen & Shishkin All To Win Any Race @ 150/1

    Some bet that, well in.

Always makes me wonder how I miss these sort of bets

The weekend specials are well worth checking out on Mondays , the below bet was available for 3/4 days after both horses won a couple of weeks ago

Chacun Pour Soi (QM) & Min (RC) Both To Win @ 66/1
