Update. My first horse was a N/R. I have decided to take out the two short priced horses, (Sizzling Roma and Ocean Fire), to leave me with five good each chances (each way lucky 31).

I can hopefully make it pay tonight.

Decrypt is out again in Hong Kong tomorrow.

He has a good 6lb pull at the weights with Beauty Legacy.

He deserves to get his head in front.

Race 3: Blue Blue Ice 4/1 I rate this my best bet at a good price. Ignore last run was reported lame on the gulfstream website and has run to stronger. BIG RUNNER

Race 5: New York's Finest 9/4 good jockey booking and been running to stronger . watching replays of his runs I was impressed

There was another race but was concerned with the long rest. Race 4: Jeeker Joe 9/2 if fit would win this but as i said I am concerned with the long lay off so best to see what he does here. Good jockey booking is encouraging though
A good start for you TT. Well done.

    Hi Guys,

A good day yesterday with a profit of 8.3 points

So with Gulfstream again tonight here goes

Race 1: Mayito 2/1 Good draw should place well just off them and strike with light weight to win going away. Trainer/Jockey in good form Mayito has only 5 runs to his name and more improvement is expected.

Race 3: Cat Lady 7/4 Has only had 3 runs which last run was a bit flat, 2 runs back was the eye catcher & top jockey Ortiz takes the ride and expect her to cruise in here. Watch Tokyo 25/1 to run in places along with Chouchou De Boo 9/1. Forecast looks good

Race 4: Get Rewarded 5/1 I MAKE HIM ONE OF MY BEST BETS HERE. Won well last time and with this good price i am on. Wide draw to contend with but if Berrios can get him tucked in just off them he should run well. Feature Creature is a reserve but if she gets in thats the danger so keep an eye out for any changes.

Race 6: Reconvene 9/2 Now here is a runner that had its first start and was an impressive front running debut against which i think was a stronger field. Was beaten by a horse called Cowtown which ran in a strong Maiden $42000 Special Weight. The wide draw is a concern but if Jaramil can get him to the front early he will be difficult to run over.

    Hi Guys,

No winners yesterday did not go my way with wide draws but still 4.3 points up

    GULFSTREAM

Race 1: Generic Mark 15/8 He is taking a huge drop in class and improved over 1700m last time and with top jockey Gaffalion on I expecting this one to WIN.

Race 2: Three Deep 6/4 Should appreciate step up to 1600m plus he races handy enough for a blow in here. HAS A 7 POUND CLAIMER which should make it more difficult to peg back.

Race 3: Sugar Bolt 2/1 BEST BET ON THE CARD Been watching her runs and she is quick. Will lead this field from start to finish. She is dropping from a $29000 allowance to a $12600!!!!!!!!!!

Race 4: Ima Coalman 6/1 the only reason i am going for him is because of the booking Luis Saez and 2nd run after long rest. His 1st run 31 days ago was encouraging has he was 7 wide on the bend and still managed to finish 6th. Big runner if not needing it still

Race 5: Fiamma Mamma 7/2 Ran a cracker last time against stronger and with a 5 pounder buggie rider I think she will go all the way. Le Tres Jolie was too slow away last start so thats a concern any way FM beat LTJ on 3rd April run albeit on the turf. Expect Kaufy Futures 16/1 to run a huge race for the placings here with the buggie jockeys dominating this race.

    Cheers

CHAMBONUS is by Wootton Bassett who won a group one on very soft ground so these conditions could suit. Chambonus showed potential when winning in January at Chantilly carrying top weight with a couple of horses down the field franking the form. He's by far and away the best bet in the race if not the entire card now back in a similiar handicap, with another positive factor being he was recently gelded. Overall a good combination of proven form to go on and any amount of possible improvement yet to come.

    Correction:

Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil (French Champion Hurdle) is not run until June meeting. The Grande Course de Haies de Printemps (handicap) is run on May 16, so a bit more time for Ronald Pump to get ready for the big race.

Grande Steeplechase de Paris (French Gold Cup) scheduled Sunday 17 May.

I toyed with the idea of looking at the Longchamp card today for the sake of getting in a bit of light exercise ahead of a possible return to punting action a couple of months down the line but the RP site doesn't show any ORs or RPR for any of the races.

I'd hate to think I was subscribing and getting that level of service.

It's put me off looking any further.

I thought he was going to win for a second. He finished fifth which was ok if you bet with Skybet.

I couldn't help but look at Compeigne.

Loads of unexposed young horses over there today.

A case of pick a few and hope for the best (for me anyway).

You’re lucky you swerved it mate, it was akin to a series of football pre-season friendlies IMO. Thankfully I stopped the betting there after a couple of races as some of the performances (by horses and jockeys) were highly dubious.

It’s clear they’ve treated this as a stepping stone and I just don’t hope we don’t see something similar when racing restarts over here.

The performances of Victor Lodorum, who may not have progressed from 2 to 3 admittedly, and Sottass especially were very disappointing.

When I saw all the excitement on Twitter about todays card I did wonder had people seen a race from France before.
