Lovely from Silver Forever. That'll save PFN's cat from a kicking tonight.

Quite taken with Glory and Fortune at Huntingdon this afternoon. He didn’t jump particularly well, left his legs behind at the 3rd last, but travelled supremely well and think he could be pretty good

The other novice to catch my eyes over the last few days is Daylight Katie who dotted up at Fairyhouse on Saturday. Long odds-on so expected to win, but loved her jumping and reckon she’s top drawer

Punchestown champion bumper 3rd Beacon Edge goes in the first today at the same course. He'll probably win, but I'm taking a chance ew on one of the other Giggi runners The Very Man

He won a decent Navan bumper (Bigbadandbeautiful in 3rd) then disappointed as favourite for a Fairyhouse race over Easter. Hopefully he'll bounce back and take to hurdling

Was a messy ending, both looked green out
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

OM does have an interesting one in Fitzroy to come tomorrow. Looks like he is up against an odds on PFN

Yes interesting (another Fame & Glory), but Ecco’s form looks very strong

Same connections also have Nickolson in the first and hopefully he’s an EW price

I have a suspicion all's not well with the Nicholls horses, quite a few have folded tamely in their races in the last week or so, even Quel Destin who looked like a shoo in at Bath today.

It used to be a thing at least that you don't back a PFN horse in the first few weeks of a season

PFN had a couple of winners yesterday and think they’re both worth following as are certain to come on bundles

Ecco won as he should have done on form and jumped lovely. Enrilo also ultimately won easily enough, but looked very green/babyish & hopefully he’s underestimated by as some who view it as disappointing

The other novice winner on the card Nickolson is also worth a shout, as won very easily and the trainer clearly holds a high opinion of him

Intersting 2m maiden at HQ tomorrow with the top four in the market all looking like good prospects on paper.

I'm never on the right side of Henderson or Nicholls french imports so will leave both alone. Bromley outlined Cap du Mathan as his horse to follow for the season and there's been plenty of chat about Fred for connections who always demand respect.

Tizzard rates Master Debonnair very, very highly but he's flattered to deceive in his last two so I'll take a chance on Skelton's. He's flying and she gets the mares allowance. Won a couple of good bumpers, running out a clear winner at Ludlow giving weight to a smart mare who subsequently won and then ran PFN's Eritage close and followed up at Newbury under a penalty.

He does indeed, but the number of times a Nicholls french import has absolutely blown up on debut would lead me to steer well clear.

Fury Road deeply impressive today, won with absolute ease. Early favourite for the Albert Bartlett, not sure what he beat today though going forward. But hard not to be impressed with that.
