    Simon, your old boss Jack Lynn wouldn't have moaned that he couldn't lay 4/1 the favourite in a 40 runner handicap, he'd have pulled it until he laid it, there again he didn't guarantee to lay large bets. The problem is the SP is returned off a small amount of bookmakers and the large off-course bookmakers will only hedge with them.

    There would have been at least 26 in the sample for the Grand National, in all honesty there is very little hedging into the ring these day and none at all on this year's National. I think your are right, Jack would have got the favourite in the book before getting to work on the rest, R.I.P.
