Have you worked this out yet, DO?

Is the bonus of this and the County still going?

As far as I know the bonus still applies, Colin, but the chances of BB making the cut there are pretty remote even if he were to pick up a 5lbs penalty today.

I'm waiting for the market to settle down today now that SG has been pulled. I want better than 15/2 today about BB.

Extra Mag has been taken out now so I've settled for the current best price of 7/1.

If Pipe trained BB he'd be 5/2.

I'm just a wee bit worried about the ground now.

See the long shot thread for fun bets.

Yeah I was always a bit concerned that if he ran today he might not run in The Coral Cup. So as it turns out I will settle for this.

Did he give any indication he was going to pull him out if it was soft? Seems very unfair to punters if he didn't

I'm not sure, Tanlic. For the sake of my Coral Cup bet I am glad he isn't out injured. I'm hopeful he will make the cut on Monday, but after today I wouldn't want it coming up heavy ground on Wednesday. He's won on soft before.

Only needs 18 to come out Martin he'll get a run but winning that's always the hard bit

Yeah mate I wouldn't want to give anyone the impression he is a certainty, definitely not in a 26 runner race, but he is one of my strongest fancies of the week especially at the prices. £50 each way at 20/1 is quite a big bet by my standards, but I backed him anti post when I had a win a few weeks before the entries were made in early Febraury. I reckon off a featherweight he'd have as good a chance as anything else in the race. The Timeform guy who tipped him before the Lanzarote made a good point that his breeding suggested he would improve for the step in trip to 2M5F, which he did do.

I reckon Dan Skelton spent all last night phoning all the trainers up and asked if they were running and 18 said they wasnt,so he will get in.
    Well maybe.

I hope BB didn't have too hard a race there, trying to follow Call Me Lord through off a very negative ride.

Still, any midweek bets are NRNB so no big deal if he skips the week.

Solomon Grey and Notwhatiam both entered for Sedgefield on Thursday, class 2 over 2M4F.
