I thought after the National last year he was the closest in type to Red Rum we've seen. Tough, genuine and clever. Would be great to have a dual National winner again.

Tiger Roll probably isn't even the stable's main hope this year.

I agree, I just think the horse is a class above and only carries 2 pounds more than last year. Wouldn't be surprised to see an Elliot 1,2,3.

Something that needs considering regarding Tiger Roll is that while he’ll be a few pounds higher than last year, the unseasonable ground was supposed to be against him then.

With luck in running he has to be the one to beat.

Is it not ages since a GN winner actually won another race?

I think Many Clouds did. That wasn't too long ago.

Ah yes I thought my recollection was a little out of date.

Blaklion sold for 360k and off to Kirby. Absolutely insane price.

That's a brilliant bit of business by the vendor. Like getting £36k for a clapped out Escort.

Went in again today on Noble Endeavor. At least I'm living up to its name

    I took 40/1 ew 5pl (1/5) NRNB/BOG as I didn't have those concessions on the earlier bets.

Ill be trying to find a special at one of the books with a Gordon Elliot 1,2,3.

    Tiger Roll
    Noble Endeavour
Don Poli (Ill find a different one)

Probably do Tricast as well for interest.

Closest ive been was my F/C of Balthazar King and Double 7 getting pipped by Pinau De rae. Not sure what it returned but I was close to tears, they finished 2nd and 3rd.

Seasonal debut is tomorrow in the Grade 3 at Fairyhouse, which looks winnable

Being 11yo would never put me off a National fancy. Nor 12yo. 13yo maybe.

Prob needed the time off after the licking Patrick Mullins gave it last year
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
