Brazen safa gives Brazen Beau his 2nd win of the season. A first winner for trainer Bell.

After timing probably but on a course at the National Stud in late 2017, a well known bloodstock agent was asked which young stallion he liked the look of/thought could be a success at stud? Brazen Beau was the one he nominated. Also thought that his youngsters, at the time, would slip under the Radar because of him being Australian bred etc and not be expensive.
Vote Alfie!!!!

Two FSS winners today. Silver Start (Hills) gives Cable Bay another win, while the 'big number of foals' FSS Gutaifan at last gets off the mark with Kidda's (Fahey) win at Pontefract.
Fahey also supplied the 20-1 winner Ventura Rebel who turned over Wesley Ward's 4-11 fav Lady Penelope at Ascot.

Yesterday Three Coins gave Fountain of Youth (who him?: well actually a well-bred sire by Oasis Dream out of Attraction) his first winner.
Guineas winner Night of Thunder has his first winner with Expressionist at Ascot today.
Those long in the tooth will remember that the first 2yo race of the year was always the Woodcote Stakes on Derby Day. This year the first 2yo race was yesterday.

Too late at night, yes, first 6f race

FSS Gleneagles, whose only runner to date Highland Chief won for Paul Cole, has Auchterarder running in the Beverley 1.50.

Couple of interesting articles on 2-y-o sires for those who are into that sort of thing. These articles appeared in the Geegeez blog. Geegeez is a mine of information and worth checking out. Well worth the price in my opinion.

Flippa the Strippa (what an awful name and for a filly) provides Outstrip with a winner at Chepstow.

Good Vibes gives FSS Due Diligence his first Listed winner, in the first at York today.
Yesterday's winner (by Invincible Spirit) Repartee was particularly impressive. Particularly well-bred being out a Johannesburg sister of Kingman (also by Invincible Spirit).
Romero (another for trainer Ryan) wins on his debut at Doncaster to give Brazen Beau another win.

Will be interesting to see what turns up at The Curragh next weekend.
Make Believe gets one of his to get him off the mark. Rose of Kildare, trained by Mark Johnston, wins at Redcar on his 3rd start.
