It is what I mostly use your ratings for. It's always great to know what you like in the harder handicaps for e/w perms. Obvioudly festivals are far better than normal Saturdays. In 2015 on the Thursday myself and Chopper on here pooled together our cash and did €3 e/w Lucky 15 perms on your selections. I'm sure I posted the full perm at the time and you were amused how shrewd a judge I was! We got through the first 3 legs with two places and one winner and a place(Call The Cops) in the County Hurdle. In the Brown Advisory we needed Champion Court or Rawmaq to finish in the 5. Rawnaq thankfully did and we clicked about 4 or 4.5k for a 1200 outlay without ever threatening the win part of the bet.

Found it. It was actually €600 stake returning €3k.

That rings a bell.
It's brilliant that somebody is benefiting from my work.
Wasn't that the day I backed Henryville at 50/1 (4th after hitting the front after the last) also in the Pertemps?
The problem I would have from that kind of bet is that it only represents a 4/1 return. I would find it hard to imagine it paying off more often than one in five times.

Sorry, Outsider, I wasn't sure if there was a joke going over my head somewhere...
Rock Choir is a burgeoning singing franchise.
People (95% women) pay to join a local choir led by a franchisee, usually an excellent musician/choirleader, and get together 1 x week, x 10 times per 'term' (school terms really) x 3 terms per year. Their voices are categorised (soprano etc) and they download the music ahead of the weekly gatherings and are taken through the chorals and moves at the meeting.
It is ridiculously popular and they often do major events.
Mrs O has recorded at Abbey Road with them and performed at the Glasgow Royal Concert Centre. the Edinburgh Festival, and a few other big places. Local choirs also do the odd flashmob event for designated charities.
Mrs O absolutely loves it.
Needless to say if I spent £300 a year on a golf membership or Sky subscription I'd get dog's abuse but since "it's only £10 a week - coffee money" it's somehow different

I could imagine this is what would be a Rock Choir (if so, I absolutely love it too)

There was a Rock choir in Central station ( Newcastle) today, they were absolutely brilliant. Your lass wasnt there was she DO ?
Yes I'm a girlie and you're not the first to thing otherwise! I'm the one without the fly mask in the pic that goes with the posts .
I would say pick a few horses -10 or 20 - and just follow them for a while, and back them or don't back them. See what they beat or what beats them and swap the list around maybe for a while. Not so much to concentrate on or get fed up with, and may discover new stars/favourites and a new enthusiasm perhaps?

I refuse to read anymore ******* essays on this thread . I'm a professional punter and I'm telling you why you don't win. If you want to ignore my advice than I suggest you quit betting. No one else on
this thread has the pedigree I have to advise you.

My two cents are quite simple.

My advice is slightly different. You keep excellent records Maurice, so I'd use them, and take a step back for a short period and do a bit of analysis. It may be your missing one or two simple tricks to get back on track. Maybe a few more, but you can definitely figure it out. I've done the same in the past and it makes a difference.
Analysis, selecting, and betting is no different to anything else, you can easily slip into bad habits and not realise you're in them. Also things change and you have to change with them.
I'd also add that the challenge of analysing, drawing conclusions, and making the necessary changes can be real eye opener, and can be quite therapeutic.
Oh yes, and I'd definitely sort your strategy out with the multiples. Slim is spot on with that. A big win every so often does wonders for the bank balance.

I wonder what is a pro punter these days. A trader I would have thought..less risk
