Highly impressive stuff from Apples Jade and I thought the Novice chase was well above average . I would bet on more than a few of them winning decent prizes in the future

Was a great day’s racing but hearing the full (including sponsor) name of the handicap chase called out mid race was comical. Surely there should be some sort of restriction on sponsor’s naming conventions.

Regarding the juveniles, Couer Sublime is highly thought of and was a very warm order today. Despite Cheif Justice giving him 7lbs he still won. As the season goes on, I think Chief Justice form line could prove to be right up there for the triumph. With that in mind I've had a nibble of Cracker Factor 33/1 and Quel Destin 25/1 for the triumph today.

    Wouldn't touch a juvenile personally

Only thing of interest to me with them is if they might make a chaser in time

Runner up should make a decent one
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

While I agree I'm terms of types of horses/races I enjoy watching, never ever would I refuse a 33/1 winner

Great racing, but if I hadn't been on the vino until 4am the previous night I might have had the energy to enjoy it more. Bumper winner the greenest NH horse I have yet seen. Would like Ed's input on confirmation and scope if he comes on here.

And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."

I left before the Bumper for the road home alas.
Cracking day's racing; I will do my utmost not to leave it 32 years again before returning !
Outstanding jockeyship by Davy (all day) and Ruby in Novice Hurdle, Quick Grabim reminds me of Nichols Canyon in size and attitude.
Apple's Jade surely has to try Champion Hurdle this season.
Anyone here with connections to Gigginstown Team should be reminded that Tied Cottage ran in big handicap hurdle here in 75 ( third to Helenium and Irish Fashion ) and won RSA Chase the following March so not too late for Samcro this season as class will out.

Samcro lost a shoe at Newcastle as well; a case of Cromwell striking twice !
History has a habit of repeating itself .
Apologies to Gavin if he is no longer the farrier there.
