Ballyoisin would be throwing in the towel after three furlongs.

Footpad not a 2 miler, would imagine John Durkan next.

He has done pretty well for a horse that is not a 2 miler.
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

As do many novices racing at a trip short of their optimum.

My point is that he doesn't have the speed for 2 miles at the top level going forward.

Tingler will be an intruiging race with Altior going up against a match-fit Saint Calvados.

Would wonder why NH even bother mentioning it to be honest

Would think following on from Saturday that Willie might send something over just to test the waters

Great Field would be some riot around them fences

He has 3 horses for 2 races - Hillly Way and Tingle

Just saw the Tingle Creek betting

Altior shorter than I imagined and the other 2 horses both 5\1

Pat Keane tipped Ballyoisin at 33s for Champion Chase in yesterday's Irish Examiner -that price is still available tonight -I see him at 20/1 by the weekend.

Altior is head and shoulders above everything else around.

Only lack of peak fitness or mishap stands in his way tomorrow. And in March.

    Ballyoisin is interesting

Wonder if they pitch him in at Leop in either Xmas or Feb or tin pot him to March

He may be the only one left that might improve enough to make Altior sweat a bit

This I can't understand. BG is supposed to be AP replacement but every other day he's riding rags while other jockeys ride the cream

If AP was still riding you can bet he'd be riding Great Field tomorrow

Maybe he's just picking the plum rides; or those that need educating? Like Frankie does on the flat.

Geraghty may get the ride next time. Might even be Mark Walsh if it's in Ireland

Surprised that the winner hasn't been mentioned here yet. I'd happily have him against Great Field in any contest anywhere from now on.
