My thinking is that the Supreme is a grinders race (lost of Gold Cup horses have run in it rather than the Neptune - Denman a notable exception) and whilst the QM is a speed test it really wasn't last year with the ground the way it was. I think Min would have a shot at reversing if that race was run on good.
But I'm hoping this is all moot and Footpad runs

hopefully we see Footpad this weekend so - given that he has 2 entries, the plan is to surely run him
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
I'm in for four months of hell/bliss with this horse now. What was I thinking
Tingle Creek entries will be interesting.

I believe you are right . I will be very surprised if Footpad isn't targeted at all the top 2 mile races. Surely Munir and Souede will have a bigger input in to where the horse goes compared to Ricci who in my opinion is 100 % steered by Willie and Ruby.

Most owners, unless they are egotistically stupid or don't want winners, accept what Willie says. If they don't, it still usually goes his way. Footpad was going to run at Aintree last season but suddenly developed an injury that kept him out but allowed him to go to Punchestown.
I'd be surprised and disappointed if Footpad wasn't in the QM in March but all entry avenues will be kept open.

granger (6th November 2018)
Footpad gets 2 weekend entries and Great Field just the Navan. Hopefully we see both

Footpad out at Naas, no Great Field at Navan
