Felix Desjy out tomorrow at prohibitive odds. Plenty to be excited about for the coming season.

Gowran always the start of jumps here. Expecting exciting entries from here on in
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
Pym looked useful today. Wonder where he takes tank with the Henderson lot

In the second division of the novice hurdle at Chepstow I thought RESERVE TANK had a nice introduction, looked the part, settled at the back, smooth progress on the inside as they turned into the straight to get competitive, kept on nicely for third place.
Ah! but a man's reach should exceed his grasp......

Hobbs' Dostal Phil is out tomorrow. He was highly regarded last season, but flopped on debut, albeit with the yard under a cloud and didn't reappear.
Hobbs said this in his ATR stable tour
"He will want two and a half miles and he will in a month or so in a novice hurdle."
Racing over 1m 7f tomorrow (4.30 Uttoxeter).
Nice first run over hurdles just now for Seddon at Stratford. Had to win getting weight from the Skelton nag, but still did it in nice style and will hopefully settle a little better next time
The other UK novice to impress so far is Pym. He's a bit obvious winning the same Chepstow race as Altior, in the same colours, but liked the way he did it and he's going to be a much better hurdler than bumper horse. The 2nd (Deyrann de Carjac) also traveled nicely and is a banker for a maiden hurdle
I'd say they were never going quick enough for Seddon. Nice start for him.
Agreed Bonjers
Love this time of year with Down Royal, Wetherby, Ascot etc. and all the nice novices coming out
Pym out tomorrow in the first at Ascot and looks a slam dunk
Noel Meade has introduced 2 good novices yesterday and today.
Hopefully he keeps them sound and they have good careers. Mrs Hunt is a good buyer of horses.

Just how lucky was Robin De Carlow yesterday, both legs through the hurdle
Illegitimi non carborundum
Called a 'slight mistake' in the RP.
She still won a listed race by 11 lengths eased down and has only gone up 2lb to 135. Maybe we should qualify her for the Pertemps.
The older I get the better I was.
Did anyone see the 1.15 Newbury today? It looks like it was a decent contest perhaps not ran at a great pace. The winner Ecu De La Noverie (BSP 70.0 ISP 33/1) traveled really well and battled back to get up on the line when headed by Mister Fisher. I could see at least 4 horses in behind winning races before the end of the year. Does David Maxwell hold on to good horses or does he sell them on?
Agreed and think Maxwell holds on to them, but not sure he's had one as promising as this. Mr Fisher is a certainty for a novice and would be particularly interested in Baddesley Knight, as he pulled quiet hard early and may be underrated because of his trainer, which is a mistake
Quick grabim and felix stand their ground for Sunday

Rhinestone will need 3 miles.

The supreme horse looked to be cruising today at Navan. Fairyhouse next for him
