In the last week, Sharjah has gone from 8/1 to 13/2...now out to 9/1 (with Powers NRNB)…..

    Melon has also drifted today...

More and more evidence that Mullins's are under a cloud. Mare today that won bucked the trend but the bumper horse - well backed (as usual I suppose) - trailed him. Might be coincidental. Think he has had three wins since New Years Day.

Tornado Flyer coughing after Lawlors hurdle. Say a few of them are under the weather. Weather is so mild these bugs are doing the rounds.

To be fair, some are definitely running below par but it seems to be mainly the bumpers and novices where they don't have a proper line on where they should be in terms of proven ability. If you look at the weekend races, Blazer ran on strongly enough in the Dan Moore and, in the Moscow Flyer, Harrie ran on strongly after being outpaced whereas Buildmeupbuttercup was too bad to be true. Even today, the mare hung on gamely but the bumper folded tamely.
The older I get the better I was.

Thanks DG. Interested to see what hare O’Sullivan Bloodstock enter for Laurina. Presume Charli Parcs will be Buvs.

It’s the same with a lot of stables. Rathhill and Theinval scoped badly after Sandown & Wincanton respectively. Angels Breath gave a few coughs the other morn & missed work. No more coughing & scoped clean then and worked away fine after that. It’s really only when they’re asked at the track that you really find out tho.

Look at Samcro & how deep that lung infection was.

Supasundae will run in the Unibet Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham if the ground is on the soft side according to Jessica Harrington but will be redirected to the Sun Bet Stayers Hurdle if the ground is good

Very surprised not to see another O’Sullivan Bloodstock horse in there for Laurina. He might use Saldier for her and Sarjah.

The only time she’s done that was last time at Sandown in a two horse race. Highly improbable she’ll do it in a champion. Every other race she’s been mid div. Charli Parcs will be sent out as the Buvs hare again anyway but expected something like Cut the Mustard who went a right clip for her in the mares novice last year to be in the line up.

Charlie Parcs will set it up for them all
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Yes, tho he was bolli*#d after 4 out last year. They were hoping he’d still be going to 2 out.

Key as pacemaker is to go a strong enough gallop to bring the field along but not get far enough away so the field totally dismisses him. Charli fell into the 2nd bracket last year.

I really fancy Silver Streak at an ew price. He's done nothing but improve all season, can run at Cheltenham, is battle-hardened, and looks as though he's far from fragile. 50s is available. Did I mention he's a dark horse in my TTF?

I agree with Silver Streak as an ew bet. I think he's abetter horse than Mick Jazz in a race that will be no better.

Depends on how seriously each is targeting the race, I suppose.

Interesting to read BP's owner apparently quote Hendo's expectations last year.

Guess they can't resist Cheltenham now with Espoir
