Cilaos Emery will likely go straight to the festival after today
Good luck figuring out his chances with any definite confidence

Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
Dynamite Dollars likely to get one more run before March. Do like to see these novices get plenty of racing in advance of championship season

Champagne classic back in action tomorrow
Remember his last race?

WPM saying on SP Life website he thinks the RSA would be the right race for Ballyward but only entered for the NH chase unless I’ve misread it.

Yes only entered in NH , but they can supplement him in the RSA at a later stage.
He broke his maiden today so they didn't know what they had on their hands. Pretty sure it will be RSA.

If Patrick has his way now Mall Dini has no NH entry you never know.
Entries for Scilly Isles Novice Chase at Sandown this Saturday

Strange entry for Ok Corral but if he runs in and wins that (and he's Henderson's only entry) then it's hard to imagine him going for the NH Chase
He's not entered for the JLT so I could see him going RSA route
Alcohol, because no good story ever started with "I was eating this salad..."
La Bague Au Roi's entry is a back up in case weather prevents him going over to Leopardstown.
Discorama is fine after his fall
Entered up in everything. He has an engine. 4 miler maybe best bet depending on How handicapped views him

Good to see Nolan stable having some good animals again
How does vinndication rank in terms of the British chasers?

I really like Vinndication. I also like how Bailey has been patient with him, which indicates he thinks he may have a very good horse on his hands.
I suspect it'll be JLT in March and he'd go there with a good chance, but it may be next year is his year stepped up in trip in open company. I think he could be a genuine Gold Cup horse next year.

Vinndication is bone idle and only pulls out what he has to. The Scilly Isles could be next but he will want further than two and a half and if he goes to the Cheltenham Festival it would be for the RSA as he will stay forever. We will try to keep him unbeaten as it doesn't often happen you win your first six, and he doesn't show a lot at home - Kim Bailey, trainer.

Thanks Lee. For obvious reasons Kim Bailey would know far more than I do, and I'm sure in that case that's what they'll do.
I'd imagine the decision to go to Sandown over two and half or Wetherby over three at the weekend will be the clincher. Given that statement, Wetherby would be the easier race and offer the best chance of staying unbeaten. It's also over three miles, rather than two and half at Sandown, which is the stated intention.
I'll take the opening show as soon as a market is formed at Wetherby as compensation!
Wetherby would also show how he goes left-handed. Not done that so far.
The older I get the better I was.
Actually I may not. Bailey has just done this for the Racing Post which suggests he's going for the harder race at Sandown over two and a half!

He's unlikely to run again before the Festival and given he's never raced beyond the intermediate trip he surely goes for JLT if he wins or goes close irrespective of previous comments Bailey may have made.
Wetherby would be a penalty kick by contrast, so it's hard to think anything else.
