    Auteuil

Is on my "to do" list and but will be watching on ATR this time around...

The first two grade ones look fascinating, but don't know enough about french form too have a bet. Will chuck a few quid at L'ami Serge in the 3m hurdle and hope there's a decent gallop and that he's on a going day

I’ve backed L’ami Serge too and thought the 8/1 about So French was too big so had an e/w play.
Alcohol, because no good story ever started with "I was eating this salad..."

    Some prize money that today.

Amazing the insular view of most trainers here to not target these races with better horses.
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

I'd love to see more French horses come to the UK and vice versa but unlike the flat, the training schedules aren't a great fit given how the respective seasons are structured.

Still, what I would give to see De Bon Coeur demolish the Stayers Hurdle. Feck me, what a performance!

It's unlikely given her sex - can't see her racing on next season. Still, if she went for the Long Walk or even Newbury's Long Distance Hurdle after the Grand Prix d'Automne then that would be something to relish.

very impressive from De Bon Coer and don't think we'll see her over here and why would we with so much cash available over there? L'Ami ran no sort or race and good to see slightly better from Yorkhill

The Grande Steeplechase was a great race and a 3rd win on the bounce for James Reveley. Was surprised to see how few rides hes had recently. is there a story behind that?

Hopefully the likes of Martin and Nick can post up ones for us to look out for in France
