    Ante-Post Competition 2017/2018 - Final Update

Gents and Ladies, just a brief and final update on this.

Maruco (Paul) sat tight on his Ante-Post Competition winnings, and eventually asked me yesterday to have £50 EW on his behalf, on last night's Hunter Chase winner Excitable Island.

He would be too modest to post this himself, but I'm delighted to say that he has asked me to split his winnings of £580 evenly between Colin (DVDS2000) for the upkeep of Talking Horses, with the other half going to the IJF - a very generous gesture indeed, I'm sure you will agree.

I will sort out these accommodations at some point over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Excellent stuff, Paul. I see Irish Stamp tipped the horse on the Pointing thread. Can he take some of the credit too?

At any rate it's brilliant that it worked out and the money will be well used.

Would it be possible to sneak £20 out of the winning Nick for a few guinness , Paul evaded buying a round the whole 4 days at the festival this year.

On a seriously note well done Paul and your good self Nick for putting up the prize.

I'd already picked it out Art, but when Martin also put it up with near identical rationale it certainly helped, so he most certainly can.
