    Paddy Power: Hacked

I played golf earlier today and my opponent mentioned in passing that his PP account had been hacked. He'd a balance of 170 and it had been removed and placed on a (losing) favourite in some cartoon racing meeting. He had a couple of tenner golf bets on the Masters that had been cashed out and added to the bet. The question I had was how would they extract the money, but I'm not as smart as a hacker and I'm sure they have worked that out.

    Be careful.

And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."

Was it just his account or have other people had the same problem?

It is a major problem with all gambling companies especially betfair.Using public WiFi is a big no -no.Two factor authentication offers the best chance of keeping the hackers at Bay.
I would be amazed if Powers didn't refund him.

Withdrawal: Lose via PP Poker; that's the only way that I could see.

The reason for the fav bet on the virtual racing will be to boost any balances too low to risk the withdrawal step. Why roulette isn't preferred I'm not sure (quicker and less of a house edge) outside of maybe having run into safer gambling restrictions.
