I'd sooner have the Godolphin colt who was chinned in the Royal Lodge. 20s too big

    Fabulous, Outsider.

A 40/1 winner knocked out in a post of no more than about a dozen words, quoting a formline with Magical Morning!

    Fecking genius mate.

A man of mystery you really are.

I wish you'd show you're workings out a bit more on here but I can't complain lol what an asset you are to this place.

I'm retiring at the end of this flat season from forum life. At least I know the place will be in really good hands.

Some will be on Lux at similar odds.

The second clearly the one to take from the Royal Lodge.

I've taken a wee bite at Modern News at 14/1 for the 7f hcap at Ascot this Saturday. A lightly-raced 3yo who might be on a steep curve and, if declared, could well halve in price by the weekend. They might even be happy to pick up a penalty for this ahead of the Balmoral, which is worth twice as much, a couple of weeks hence.

Nice shout. The horse he beat at Newmarket, Final Watch, was a tracker of mine from earlier in the season. Good form.

    BALMORAL HCAP
Bit early to have a strong view until we know what is running but I've had a dabble on MARIES DIAMOND 25/1.
Ran well to this distance when unplaced at sandown where Bedoins story was
just ahead and again ran well in the Cambridgeshire.

    You'd think I'd learn but...

Champions' Sprint, Ascot - Minzaal 25/1 - runs tomorrow making his 3yo seasonal debut but is already rated 111. I presume there have been reasons for his not being seen until now but his entry for the big race two weeks hence points to his pleasing connections. Tomorrow's race is no great shakes. He might not win but a promising run might see a contraction in his odds for the G1 race.

    Nice enough.

Edit - As low as 8s in a couple of places but Skybet didn't adjust their price so I went in again at 20/1. Looks a fair opportunity to take a profit before the off.

Nothing is beating Rohann in that race

The goal right now isn't to beat Rohann, it's to beat the price and secure a no-lose position.

Kept in at the six day stage. I was dissapointed with his last run when fourth behind Goobinator, but his handicap mark hasn't suffered as a result. I haven't backed him or anything else yet mind.

I know Outsider is keen on Maze Runner.

The entry of Irish sprinter Verhoyen in the York Sprint on Saturday is interesting. This one has won several decent sprint handicaps in Ireland and is 14/1 at present to come to York and win over here.
