Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
He is the revelation of the season, bred locally by p2p rider Chris Donovan's father ; they wont a p2p at Curraheen in atrocious conditions and were lucky to sell him to Dave Dennis for a decent price at the time.
Michael Winters was instrumental in that sale and who would have thought he would be bought back for a fraction of the price and improve 25 lbs with GE.
Abandoned today
Anybody who doesn’t think the Mullins - Elliott domination isn’t ruining racing need only take a look at the €100,000 Handicap Hurdle tomorrow.
14 of the 19 runners between them in their challenge for the title and Mullins fields 10, out of 19

Alcohol, because no good story ever started with "I was eating this salad..."
Ruining is the wrong word anyway.
They are both the best at what they do. If you were an owner your be looking for results too.
Ruining racing isn't training multiple top class horses and look at the kind of races HE is winning. Handicap after handicap and built from the ground up.

You’re right; ruining probably is the wrong word and I’ve nothing against either trainer, they’re both clearly excellent trainers, but do you really think it’s healthy for the sport when the richest race of the week run in Ireland sees one trainer fielding ten runners in a nineteen runner race?
