Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Franked again today. Was supposed to be out over Xmas but had a small knock. Nothing to worry about according to Nicky.

    Edit. What Slim said.

I'm slightly worried that most of the horses I fancy seem to be Henderson's.

I'll be going in as strong as I can on a couple when that happens.

This RSA is looking a right bag of shite of a race. You'd think they must be very tempted to run Presenting Percy as things stand? 8/1 is hardly a bargain but it's closer to a bet now then it was a month ago.

He could win a really bad renewal a la Blaklion but I don't think he's much more than a decent handicapper. I put Invitation Only up, confusing price given connections.

I reckon that Our Duke has shown them all how it should be done. Hell of a lot for any horse.

What, running in the RSA? That's a myth perpetuated by people rhyming it off as fact every single year.

    No

Avoiding Cheltenham and going for the far bigger pot in Fairyhouse

I was reading into your comment about it being a hell of a lot for any horse. If I’ve misinterpreted that apologies.

    No worries at all.

PP owners do seem like they want a Cheltenham win so that bet may be safe

My Black Corton 33/1 from 2 months ago looking more solid all the time. Fully appreciate average horse and likely place at best, but still solid.

Agreed on Invitation Only as well.

I thought Presenting Percy was exposed a bit against Jury Duty in terms of the RSA - and I don't see how winning a well run 3m5f handicap chase in bottomless ground changes that myself. Don't think he has the pace for an RSA.

Not sure when I posted my most recent update but these are the festival ante-post bets I've taken since the turn of the year:

Saphir Du Rheu, Gold Cup, ew 66/1, B365 (NRNB/BOG)

    Debuchet, Supreme, win 33/1 B365 (NRNB/BOG)

Ch’tibello, Chmpn Hdl, win 70, Bfx
    Ch’tibello, Chmpn Hdl, ew 33/1 B365 (NRNB/BOG)
John Constable, Chmpn Hdl, ew 50/1 B365 (NRNB/BOG)

This weekend's trials meeting looks very good. I might take a few more in anticipation of a good run.

Most of my antepost book revolves around either Call me Lord in the champion hurdle market with and without Boover. Double shuffle in the Gold Cup although Blacklion also would be quite a pay out in that too.

The rest is really bits and bobs either small multis or a couple of quid on daft priced exchange horses.

Like top notch or cloudy dream in the Ryan Air but missed any fancy prices so I'll wait for the day.

Like Euro I have a few quid on SFP for the ultima and he's probably in a couple of multiples but I fear he's about to commit handicap suicide on Saturday.
Man who catch fly with chopstick .... accomplish anything.

He jumped fantastic in both his wins, (stand out feature) his second run may have come to soon. He had enough pace to win the Pertemps final off top weight, with Jury Duty half a dozen lengths behind; so if he were to jump as accurate and economical as he has shown, I personally think he's a big player in either of the staying novice chases.
