You're right. I hadn't been monitoring it in detail having taken the price on Sunday but in the Oddshcecker summary page (where you don't see the bookie breakdown) the ever mythical Sportingbet price was making it look like he was still available as big as 16/1 on Monday when he's been no bigger than 10s in reality.

Sportingbet make a joke of oddschecker.

Taken Might Bite 7/1 today. Can't see this price being around when he lines up in the King George.

Replace "lines" with "bolts" and your post will be 100% more accurate, Slim.

You're kidding me mate - I jest. Cast your eye/mind back to threads earlier this year and I was of the same mind last boxing day taking the big prices for the RSA - sadly I didn't have the foresight to back him for the KG twelve months later

I'm on him for the Gold Cup at 10s and KG at a measly 5s but I want him to calm that over exuberant jumping down a bit.

World hurdle is the race I'm looking at for value

against top two and have backed Supasundae at 20s
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

    Presenting Percy

Surely it is worth taking some 10/1 or 9/1 for the RSA? It's not like there is any superstar in the division to be afraid of?

Would prefer monalee at 7s, much more certain to run in the RSA rather than the 4 miler.

Big fan of Monalee too, but wasn't there a lot of talk he won't even go to Cheltenham? Nearly sure HdB made some comment to that affect. Think might have been discussed on the Novice Chase thread.

I'm actually backing both. 7/1 Monalee is a no brainer.

I know its a guessing game, but I would have thought presenting piercy would be more likely to go for the 4 miler given he won over 3m 5f on soft the other day.

Supasundae at 20's seems to me- and I am currently getting it wrong most of the time- a stonkingly good bet. JH, one of the most open trainers, has said that the horse will be aimed at staying Hurdle races. The horse is still only 7 yet won the Coral carrying almost top weight. Then ran Yanworth to a length at Aintree over 3 miles, his first time over the distance.

Progressive horse, proven on the course and competitive with the best this year. I took what I could this week to top up.

    Not quite

Said he didn't love the RSA as a race

Value looks very thin on the ground in the markets after Xmas. Probably a month to NRNB so this will be a quite period.
