Thanks Kauto that's a site I've heard a lot about from speed figure guys I'll have to check it out as I've kept meaning to do. So stuck in my ways I tend to keep thinking I'll have a look at new things and then keep reverting to what I know

Haha ah bum I'm sure I read an article the other day that said after his disappointing run on his comeback that he might go back and run in the novice event. I was struggling to find the article and googled it. Found that one and thought that was it. Perhaps I've got completely muddled up too many night shifts and too much Alcohol...apologies gents.

Knowing Tizzards style when they come back 1st run from a set back + slowly away!

That hurdle race did what it was supposed to do..sharpen him up.

Now I reckon we'll see the real Thistlecrack who may or may not be good enough to beat Might Bite but to me he is the only possible danger

    Ten left in KG.

Declarations to be released within the hour, though it rather begs the question: why aren’t they released immediately?

For the record, I’m not in the slightest bit worried about any of the other declarations.

Might Bite's biggest threat is himself.
That last fence at Kempton can be a b@@@h; remember Barton Bank and kicking king (almost).
Best of luck in any case, and keep the defibrillator nearby.

Lot of rain forecast for Christmas day and St. Stephen’s day now with a possibility of up to 25mm falling. If that’s the case and they get that they’ll race on soft next Tuesday.

I'll be so annoyed if BDM hacks up now. So much time for the horse but my whole betting season revolves around Might Bite winning this (well almost)
I'm usually not bothered, but I'm getting slightly anxious the closer it comes and the forecast of rain now makes me a little uneasy as well. Especially as I may have foolishly put 11 of my 12 eggs in one basket.

Back up to 100% confidence then, DJ.

PS, Looks about 5mm max between now and Boxing Day, but with dry/windy conditions prevailing over next few days.

Think this might be what people are reffering to Grass taken from the racing post hopefully not from an 1989 edition.

Although the forecast is mainly dry until Sunday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day are forecast to be wet and windy.
Clerk of the course Barney Clifford reported on Wednesday: “We’re currently good to soft in the main, and soft by the lake.
“On Christmas Day there's a band of rain coming in which could produce 8-9mm, while Boxing Day is wet and quite windy, with 12-15mm possible.
“If we got the upper range of that forecast it would be nearly soft ground on Boxing Day.
“We’re looking at temperatures of a maximum of 11C and minimum of 5C over the Christmas period so shouldn’t have any problems.”
