Not convinced about that either, PJ. Disko’s not exactly a sleeper, and the way the JLT is working out, I doubt he’s one that would be overlooked in the market, whenever he runs again. Too much to like about the horse, to get a gross price about him, I reckon.

6/1 first offer on the Lexus. SJ won't run and Yorkie is fav

    25/1 King George

12/1 - any race at Cheltenham

    25/1 - Gold Cup

Hmmn......better than I thought they’d be, to be fair.

12/1 Any race the best of them, I’d say. Prices for KG and Gold Cup suggest he won’t run in either.

O'Leary will want a runner in the Gold Cup and the rest of his are either two and a half milers or averse to the track.

A nice vid doing the social-media rounds of The Biter leading-up Beveur D'Air and MTOY at Henderson's this morning.

    They know their place.

Sizing John does not go to Kempton - Jessie has just confirmed via Twitter.

Jessie is a judge...........knows exactly what the horse needs i.e. avoid The Biter until Cheltenham...........might run in Leopardstown instead............might not.........we'll see...........your manners are appalling!

Yes what deplorable tongue to use about Jessie

    Disgraceful

Once Potts popped his clogs, SJ's passport was assured only one UK stamp per season

    Presumably at Walters' insistence.

    Good silver-medal chance.

Shame about Cue Card but understandable

Colin Tizzard expects Cue Card to have just three more runs before heading into retirement, with the 32Red King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day looking increasingly unlikely. He was in the frame for the Christmas showpiece earlier in the week and was briefly considered for the rearranged Peterborough Chase.
However, following talks with owner Jean Bishop, Tizzard is now leaning towards the Ascot Grade One he won in February last year.
"We probably won't run Cue Card in the King George. Talking to Jean Bishop, we will just mind him. The King George is red hot," said Tizzard.
"We considered going to Taunton, but we decided not to. He had a hard old race at Haydock (second to Bristol De Mai in the Betfair Chase).
"We just want to have three runs in the spring, then retire him. I think that's what we will do."
He added: "We will go to the Ascot Chase, then either the Ryanair or Gold Cup and then on to Aintree.

"Then I will have him as my hunter."

Any idea of current ground conditions at Kempton? Weather looks pretty settled between now and Tuesday week. I expect good/soft with possibly a bit of good in places.

Last turf meeting on 27th November reported G/S all round, KA.

Anything close to that should suit both your Henderson horse and mine.
