Double Shuffle and Tea For Two are both at their best around Kempton. As such I have no issue with them being so close to Might Bite in the King George. He's clearly the best staying chaser in the UK and the Irish pecking order is anyone's guess.

Erm Tan I can't recall quite what I said at the time but I'm sure I wasn't that dismissive of Tea for two and I think I recall saying he had a place chance at best. I think I also said on good ground Might Bite would win (sort of tongue in cheek) with fresh air second and the going was officially soft. I still believe he is a better animal on better ground and that on good ground in the King George he would have won a lot further than he did. I actually thought Whisper would win on soft ground so admittedly I'll hold my hands up to being wrong on occasion. That said the only opinion that I backed was Double Shuffle and I think I said something along the lines of if he was 100/1 on the day then he was probably the best 100/1 shot I'd ever seen. How you can turn that opinion into me being clueless god only knows Tanlic.

But just to clarify you've backed Might Bite for the Gold Cup but you think he might have his hands full with Sizing John and Native River..are those by any chance the first 3 in the betting ? Brave opinions Tan once more.

Double Shuffle given a clear round will be there or thereabouts.

If you disagree with Tanlic, it means you’re clueless.......that’s the first law of Tanlicdynamics.

When you agree with him, you’re a genius/judge......that’s the second law of Tanlicdynamics.

The third law is that he is a cantankerous old cu*nt, and you don’t take anything that he has to say, too personally.

He is a big softie really.

Tbf I was already on that line of thinking Grass he sort of reminds me of my old man who is an alcoholic ( not to say Tan is) who on occasion spouts some embarrassing opinions and we (the rest of the family) end up apologising for him quite a lot, but deep down he's a decent guy

We all back more losers than winners, Tanlic - no need for any of that.

FYI, I took 100/1 on Champagne West for The Gold Cup, to the huge stakes of a tenner each way. I was pleased I had the value cos he went off a lot shorter at 14's, its not as if I said he was a stone cold certainty was it? At least I don't private message people asking to use their betfair accounts.

I asked a member (NOT MARBLE) to do a friend of mines a favour because he couldn't put money into his account due to local restrictions at his address.

He gave the member his passwords to both his money wallet and his betting account and without a hitch the member did it for him.

He wasn't around and I was going to ask Marble who was PM me often to do the same but it tuned out I didn't need his help so never asked him for ****!!!!!

To insinuate I asked to use his or anyone else's account is a downright lie. It was the exact opposite we truest the member with my friends passwords.

I don't know you in real life., I just post up my thoughts on an internet forum. I think you are an overrated, unadulterated, very intelligent, cheeky, illogical, tax avoiding wanker who shouldn't have packed in your high flying life so soon to sit and take the **** on a place which is for strangers to talk about horse racing. Comprende.

Unfortunately, I can't avoid tax, and the cu*nts currently have me by the chuckies.

Can we now go back to discussing how far Might Bite wins the Gold Cup?

TBF Grass he has me bang to rights and if I were to form a club that would be a pretty fitting name. Talking horses PLC ( pick a loser club ). Glad he's banded me in with that pair of fine, young, strapping gentleman though as at least when I'm doing my brains I'll be amongst good company

Anyone interested in Joining Talking Horses PLC must make applications in writing, posted along with large bundles of cash, directly to me, be accepting that something outside the first 3 in the betting sometimes will win and have a good sense of humour.

For Grassy's blood pressure I'll preface this by saying that Might Bite might well have been capable of running to 169 at Kempton and he might end up being a 180 horse. However....

The KG has been rated through Tea For Two as his 164 rating was the same for the 2 previous races and the subsequent one. This is fatally flawed as those 3 races off 164 resulted in:
    41l behind Smad Place
    67l behind Bristol De Mai
    PU behind Definitly Red

I'm not saying that those 3 races define TFT but I am saying that using him as a baseline for the KG looks more and more dodgy. For this one race it's a nonsense to give MB 169 and Double Shuffle 166. They are making exactly the same error as with the previous KG where Thistlecrack got a silly rating because Cue Card was erroneously used as the baseline.

I do think that Might Bite is a worthy favourite but a skinny price.
The older I get the better I was.

I think 7/2 with a run is massive -I would make him 6/4.
