The worst week of my punting life. Could only be saved UDS there to land a muggy favourite acca but never had the faith he'd see that out on this ground. Doddle for the winner.

Looks like UDS does not stay in very soft ground but he might have done himself a mischief with that mistake .

Very surprising how this race cut up - the true 2m4f championship was at Ascot but it seems to have left its mark on the first four home .

I hope Cue Card is ok he never looked happy and his high head carriage was pronounced today.

I so hope Sam Spinner wins and breaks the tedious Mullins/Gigginstown/Elliott hegemony.

Engine has gone mate he was beat way too far from home to be blaming stamina.......Plus he did run on at the finish...Like us they get slower as they get older and boy does he have some miles on his clock over that last 5 years

Brilliant from Mullins to get Penhill back but clearly Colliver was far too cautious on Sam Spinner judging by the way the whole field was stacked up coming round the home turn.

I could be sick. Penhill was the last leg of a 5fold for 2700. Altior, Boover, Samcro, Un De Sceaux, Penhill. Returned 2700

Brilliant from Mullins to produce that off a year off. Him and Elliott having some week.

That said, odd race, not sure if Sam Spinner just didn't fire or the jock gave it a shocker. Never pressed on.

Albert Bartlett a good renewal last year.

Wow what a shambles for English trained horses. 22 horse at the start with only 2 Irish runners

Nicholls, Hobbs, Fry, Skelton, Pipe, O'Neill, Tizzard, Twister, King and the list goes on and on.
They should be offering serious discounts on their fees next year.
    What a farce

BHA should take this as a chance to look at scheduling, prize money, structuring, funding a mares racing program etc etc
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

I think that's the easiest winner I've ever seen at the festival. Some mare.
