    Bacardys out tomorrow
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

    Grand stuff.

Ruby Walsh has no rides tomorrow. Is he stood-down or injured?

Bacardys is odds against tomorrow and I cannot work out why.

Noticed he was 6/4 with B365, but can’t get on with them. Anyone else betting on it?

Presumably the market takes a positive view of De Plotting Shed’s effort behind Presenting Percy, hence the seemingly generous price on Bacardys? If so, I expect that confidence will be misplaced.

I await Bacardys entry into the novice-chase ranks with much relish, and reckon he can go right to the top. I love unflashy, straight-forward, dare-I-say-workmanlike, scopey, street-brawler types like him as staying-novice-chasers.

I’ve had a decent bet at 11/8 with Bet365. Obviously missed the 6/4

He missed Thurles on Thursday with a wrist injury. Must be the sane one keeping him out tomorrow.

Two horses in the race have higher hurdle ratings, both of them have a fitness advantage and Bacardys will probably prefer a longer trip than this over fences. I expect him to win but I won't be shocked if he doesn't.

Presumed he'd be odds on too.

be upset if he doesn't win with some in hand

Didn't think too much of the ride..The problem is with these novices if you lie too far out of your ground then rush them to get into contention if they make one mistake others will follow

Jumped poorly, poor ride from Townend, I’m poorer for the experience.

It looked like he had barely seen a fence at home. Unusual for one coming from Mullins yard.

Yes unusual, but he'd definitely schooled well at home so won't give up on him just yet

That was a very impressive chase debut from Footpad. Jumped beautifully.

I can see Brelade being one for the novice handicap.

    Very nice from Footpad though.

looked more like a parade than a race..not sure if that was because Footpad was really good or the jockeys accepted defeat before the off. I certainly would be careful about backing the winner at short odds in a better race
