Phoenix Of Spain, winner of the Acomb last time, has loads of potential.

That was impressive, and landing a big punt.

Interesting to hear the trainer saying afterwards that he wont be risked on fast ground, but could get a mile next season.

Is a horse to be quite excited about for 2018
Al Hajar is no longer in training

Set to go Haydock on September 6th for a mile maiden
    Takes that engagement tomorrow [3.10]

Up against a Gosden hot favourite, but am on each way at 6-1 [Currently 9-2]

GL tomorrow PB, will watch with interest. I'm no great shakes when it comes to a horse's breeding but why would cut be ideal for a Scat Daddy/Johannesburg colt? (just asking).

    Lovely Winning debut.

Would have learnt a lot from exiting himself from a boxed in position up the home straight

    Looks top class.

Will be interested to see when another A P O'Brien newcomer is unleashed called: San Andreas

As heard some nice comments from decent enough source about this Dark Angel colt

Has to be doubtful Ten Sovereigns will get a mile.

    Repaupo

Thought he made a lovely debut at Ascot last weekend when 2nd.

As was impeded by the horse next to him in the stalls at the start, which caused him to be in the last pair before running on to only be beaten a head

Think this John Gosden colt could be top class

PHOENIX OF SPAIN runs in the Champagne (Donc. 3.00) this afternoon. Has Gosden's Too Darn Hot and others to beat. More hopeful than expectant.

Phoenix Of Spain outclassed by the favourite but each-way bets were rewarded with an 8/1 second.

Interesting gamble landed today at Yarmouth by a newcomer called Magic J

But very few people if anyone outside the stable...including the trade paper! knew the colt had his name changed from Ginger Wolverine...who had an entry in next months Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes!

Someone messaged me to say it wouldn't be beaten. I had a small bet but had no idea it was a dirty one.
