10 losing favourites and your next bet is 50 grand. I'll pass 😉

Do your own tissue prices and then select the bets - great system IMHO.

It probably wouldn't happen all that often though

tested this on yesterdays racing, starting again at £50 after every winner. longest losing streak of 6, bet required after that was £3200.

Over the whole day, you'd have been £6,812 up.

I would hazard a guess that 10 losing favourites in a row happens more often than you imagine. You'd need balls of steel. Plus you would never get the bets on. If you did manage to and if got to 11 or 12 and you then couldn't get the next one on, your life would be over.

It probably does, I just thought it would be an interesting exercise to check.

Now why didn't I think of that

Sorted now - the double is on. Hopefully it will go some way to compensating for Party Rock / Cocktails At Dawn...

I hate to be a killjoy but there is no e/w angle on John Constable.

The market has me suspecting JC isn't off today but he was weak the day he was second to Sternrubin too.

Ivan Grozny is too short turned out 7 days after a graded hurdle despite being well in, and Clondaw Warrior has flattered to deceive too many times and won a race that I suspect won't work out well. He's gone up for that, and the pair are making the market value behind if you think they're over bet.

    Watch them finish 1-2 now!

Can't say JC wasn't trying but I really thought wherever Ch'tibello finished JC would be in front of him. Maybe he did too much up with the pace despite what Skelton said. Hope EC1 was on the winner but anyone who backed the runner-up can feel very unlucky.
