By numbers, breeding, set up and flat cast off's, he has a huge head start on others

If he has the ability, his current situation is very favourable
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

It's interesting that these flat horses you mention are not Coolmore bred, and one is even by a Godolphin sire. Is Joseph's role to be to develop alternative bloodlines for 'the lads' to the all-conquering Galileo?

Shrewd move -KB specialises in low grade flat handicaps -I would guess that's where most trainers need help.

Setting up his own racing club now

Handy way to get people involved in racing and a few extra horses in your care

You would have to think there will be massive interest before it develops into an avalanche :0)

Anyone paying €500 a year for what basically amounts to a newsletter and entry into a draw to win owners' badges wants their head looking at.

For a few visits to a yard and a day at the races there could be worse ways to spend a few bob.

Wouldn't appeal to me but someone with a passing interest in racing might enjoy the experience
