Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

Tough choice between the QMCC, for the re-match between Altior and Min, and Douvan if he makes it (he won't), and what looks the deepest Arkle I can remember in a long time.

From a personal point of view, Cracking Smart was the first horse that went into my Tracker for the season, back in late-September/early-October, and I would love to see him win the Bartlett (he will).

    Def between Arkle and QM.

I like the narrative of the big rematch at last in the QM and the fact that it should be won by a brilliant horse.

Will have tonnes of early pace too

Arkle hands down for me, assuming Douvan doesn't turn up in the QMCC

The Grand Annual for me; two mile handicap where they go lickety split and you can get a result like Bellvano's .
I still watch that race if I ever need need cheering up.

Love the potential of the up and coming best 3 mile chasers and the RSA fascinates me this year. I'm intrigued to see how Good Percy & Monalee really are, the ultra rock solid and very likable Black Corton (Jeremy Kyle aside!) and supporting cast of Al Boum photo, Invitation only & Dounikos. I'm expecting it to be highly competitive and I think and hope a thriller awaits us!

The Ryan Air is always my favourite race and looks a really good renewal If Waiting Patiently and Cue Card were to turn up maybe Yorkhill added to the cast of horses that are definitely heading for this then it looks like being a fantastic contest once again.

Have to say though really looking forward to the Ballymore aside from Samcro looking a superstar I think there are some other really good horses heading into this and certainly think there are a bunch of horses that we'll be talking about for years to come.

'Vibes' don't count with this yard and this owner. You should have realised this by now.

Usually I probably most look forward to the handicaps, especially the Ultima, County and Grand Annual but they've all been kind enough to me through the years although I do take a scattergun to them because I love them so much.

However, I have to say this year's Arkle has all the hallmarks of being one of the best ever.

Take Altior out of the Champion Chase - I'm not too bothered about Douvan - and I reckon any one of Footpad, Saint Calvados, Petit Mouchoir and maybe even Sceau Royal would be in with a chance of winning the race. I wouldn't be surprised if North Hill Harvey ran a lot better than of late.

For me it is the Gold Cup, so many look to have a chance, it could be a cracker.
Pluralism of Ideas and the prosperity of any land are intertwined. Freedom of minds and skill of intellect to 'think the unthinkable' is how humanity has progressed; when minds are incarcerated nothing endures.

I'm hoping to see a Sprinter Sacre-style display of real class at some point, but I'm not sure where it's going to come from. Un De Sceaux was pretty good last year, Altior threatens to produce something spectacular, and there's the slight possibility we might see an amazing comeback from the likes of Douvan and Faugheen. As a contest the Arkle might be the one, and I think there are a few exceptional performers in the bumper but my vote is for the Gold Cup, given that it looks wide open and there are plenty of questions to be answered.

I would have been of this thinking for a long time too Euro. I really wanted to see that rematch in the Arkle last year.
And I have multiple bets on Min and I'm really looking forward to it anyway. But strangely the possibilities of Douvan lining up has tempered my enthusiasm somewhat. Probably due to the fact it doesn't suit my Ante post book.
Don't get me wrong, I fully appreciate Douvan's brilliance (Can picture Tanlic losing it reading this) but I'd been assuming for so long he wouldn't make it and wanted to see the 2 horses go head to head over fences after their supreme showdown (Where I still believe Min got injured during the race and would have finished a lot closer otherwise).
